Inspired by the great Italian south, Pompeii is our boldest coffee yet. Made up of 75% robusta and 25% arabica, it offers a fantastic amount of body and crema with a super smooth profile. Like our Aroma Intenso blend, it is best poured as a ristretto through an espresso machine or moka pot. Add milk and sugar, too, if that’s your thing.

A quest for coffee greatness has splintered off our latest blend: Pompeii. In the same way this ancient city which had been suffocated in volcanic ash and sediment for hundreds and hundreds of years was revealed for the first time through excavation, we have swept away modern trends and fads, which can bury beauty and simplicity, to experience an old taste of southern Italy. More intense than Aroma Intenso, fantastically rich in body and crema, Pompeii delivers the quintessential coffee taste that moves ever closer to chocolate. Blended using 75% robusta and 25% arabica, roasted slowly over ironbark, you could put a lot worse through your espresso machine.
