Aromatic with fruit and piped tobacco. Good body, with a fine, persisting crema. Very mild fruit acidity. A caramel sweetness in the cup, especially with milk, and a pleasant chocolate finish.
Description
This is an espresso blend based on 100% Arabica beans from South and Central America. With the addition of an Ethiopian natural, it is a touch lighter in roast than our Classico Italiano, and possesses a moderate level of delicate acidity, providing a sweeter, cleaner coffee, a coffee not as punchy as the Classico Italiano, not nearlyas intense as Aroma Intenso, yet retaining a smooth profile with a fine chocolatey aftertaste.
This is ideal for the espresso machine or Italian Stovetop for those wanting a lighter coffee, with a little more finesse, without so much caffeine. It would also suit a French press or filter.
